Born and brought up in Agra. Was crowned "Nasneen-e-Taj" (Miss Agra) while she was in junior college After graduating from Agra University she was working in an infrastructure development company for some time till Vandana shifted her base to Mumbai in order to explore the actor with in herself. In year 2006 she made her debut in TV commercials with “Real Choice Drinking Water” which led to her first break in to movies as a lead for a Tamil film "Thavam".

So far she has done more than fifty commercials including TVCs and Print ads for brands like Fair & Lovely, Spinz Deo, Cinthol, Belmonte, Kellogs Special k, Ayur Shampoo, Mrs. Marino Hair Softener, Tropicana Twister, Benadryl, Surf Excel, Queens Emporium, Joy Alukkas and a lot more.
